The Pavilions
If you head out of the front door and turn down the gravel path on the left you'll find The Garden lodges. There are two Pavilions set apart from the main house, Pavilion 1 and Pavilion 2. Designed by Charles Morris the luxury Pavilions almost melt into the New Forest surroundings, the ultimate definition of hideaway chic.
Pavilion 1 (Suite):
Enter Pavilion 1 through a Bath Stone columned archway into a stone paved lounge area. Here, French doors lead onto a patio with views of the New Forest, a bit like your own country cottage. If you don't feel like joining us in the restaurants, there's a dining area so you can get that chilled night in feeling and then cosy up by the fire. Just as you'd hope for in the best kind of hideaway, an oak staircase leads to the bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, open fire, large bay window and double roll top bath. These luxury Pavilions are cosy but spacious, chic but romantic and it may be hard to leave.
Pavilion 2 (Rooms):
Made up of two rooms, one on the ground floor and one upstairs, you enter Pavilion 2 through a Bath Stone arched column on the right hand side into a bedroom and seating area. There's a writing table (which could also be used for dining), heated stone floor, bathroom with walk-in shower and a bay window which leads out onto the forest via a terrace.
If you go through the Bath Stone arched column on the left you'll find yourself in a hallway with a curved staircase leading to the bedroom on the first floor. There's a four poster bed, high vaulted ceilings, oak wooden floor, roll top bath, open fire and large bay window overlooking views of the forest. It'll make you want to spend as much time as possible curled up in bed; either that or enjoying the view from a hot, steamy bath.
