The top floor of our Herb House is devoted to fitness and health with a state-of-the-art gym with forest views and the very latest Technogym equipment with computer memory card system so users can track their fitness progress. This timber panelled loft gym is perfect for a good work out, high ceilings, white walls and floor to ceiling glass windows gives the feeling of space and light - whilst being on the 3rd level provides views of the forest, Lime Wood and beyond.
We hold a selection of classes daily in the Workout studio & Lap Pool. In the summer time, some fitness classes are held on the Herb House Roof Garden & in the Forest.

We have now added Pilates classes and Aerial Yoga classes to the Fitness timetable!
Aerial Yoga is an innovative type of Yoga using a low hanging, soft suspended fabric hammock to aid traditional yoga postures by supporting your body weight.
Our Barre Pilates class is a fusion of moves inspired by ballet barre exercises alongside the strength, flexibility and mobility of Pilates. This is a high intensity, high energy class that will improve your all over body tone, strength and posture.
1 TO 1 PERSONAL TRAINING
Do you find yourself wanting to get fit or tone up but can't work out the best way forward to achieve your goals? Or do you have a programme and simply need to improve your efficiency and technical skills? If so a 1 on 1 personal training session could be for you! SMALL GROUP TRAINING
This is a great way to get the benefits of personal training but with the added bonus of spending time with friends. These sessions are tailored to group goals but still keeping it specific to your individual needs and requirements.
Small group training is a great opportunity to try new workouts from TRX (suspension training), SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness Training), Indian Clubs and unconventional training using sand bags, tiers and battle ropes to our more traditional spinning, kettle bells and interval training.
If you are struggling to make a class time and want to have a tailored class at an hour that suits you then grab some friends, have some fun and get into shape (minimum of 2 people and maximum of 4).
1 hour sessions will cost £20.00 per person. Please speak to the Fitness Team to find out more.
Wouldn't it be reassuring to find out exactly what shape you're in? When we step onto those scales what does that weight really mean? It can't all be that bad, can it? The non invasive Body MOT is an hour long and will provide you with a clear understanding of your general health and fitness levels. For members the Body MOT is free.
