Easter:

CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE AT THE MUD HOUSE: - The inimitable Lime Wood has come up with yet another corker in the form of a detox using chocolate – well kind of. It is a detox, and chocolate is involved, but for external use only. This Easter enjoy a traditional Arabian body treatment that involves heat, steam and chocolate mud. This natural limited edition Rasul Mud from the Austrian Alps is infused with chocolate fragrance oil and comes rich in minerals and anti-oxidants, ideal for nourishing dull winter skin leaving it plumped, moisturised and smooth. Coated head-to-toe in mud, this Rasul Mud will sooth tired and aching muscles whilst warming your whole body after the cold winter months. Go to the Mud House as a couple or take friends. This Easter enjoy this calorie free chocolaty treat from just £90 for two or £120 for four.

Spa Package for Boys:

MINT CONDITION: - Lime Wood's Herb House Spa has introduced a new package for the boys called Mint Condition (180 mins for a mere £215): In 2012 we think it's time for the boys to enjoy a little indulgence in Britain's favourite spa. Your day will start with a body MOT to find exactly what shape you are in which will help our fitness guru work out the bespoke training session for you. After this you'll be pushed to your fitness levels and beyond but a one-on-one Personal Trainer in an intensive workout session. After the pounding your body has taken you can relax into a life-changing Deep Tissue Massage. In addition to these three elements you're welcome to use all the spa facilities, a 2 course lunch at the Raw and Cured spa cafe and unlimited soft drinks.

Ayurvedic Therapies:

FOREST ESCAPES: - There has definitely been a popular shift towards the medical element of treatments. People want to feel like they have experienced a treatment which is tailored in some way to their own personal needs. Ayurvedic therapies follow an ancient Indian approach that wonderfully nurtures the body & soul understanding individual differences by establishing ones 'dosha' before the treatment begins. All therapies are designed to work seamlessly in your everyday life, helping you become and stay healthy and happy. The treatments are known as 'Forest Escapes' of which there are 5. The one that best suits you will be chosen.120 minutes treatment time - £150 or course of 6 , pay for 5 - £625 (save £150).

New Menu:

SHARING MENU: - Lime Wood has introduced a new sharing menu into the Dining Room restaurant and it really does what is says on the tin. There are 5 different courses which lend themselves well to being shared (Seabass baked in salt and filleted and halved at the table; duck roased on the crown with fois gras which is split into two; whole baked Tunsworth cheese perfect for sharing with homemade biscuits and bread). We believe that this sharing concept can be found in London but has yet to be done properly at a country hotel.

New Event:

SMOKED & UNCUT: - In time for the summer, Lime Wood & it's sister properties The Pig and Portetta are launching their own music label and series of live music sessions. The sessions will happen one Sunday night a month at The Pig and Lime Wood alternately. The evenings will have a relaxed festival feel and will showcase some of Britain's youngest, aspiring musical talents. Music genres range from indie folk to chill out electro. Guests can sit back enjoy a cocktail and or dinner and listen to the bands play into the evening. The first session at Lime Wood is on 17th June so this summer could well be the time to flock to the New Forest to enjoy these fledging bands before they're fighting off groupies at The O2.

Foodie News:

THE SMOKE HOUSE: - Guests are welcome to go down to The Smoke House to sample the mouthwatering delicacies that have been smoked and cured by head chef supreme, Luke Holder. On a summers night enjoy smoke salmon and drinks with Luke there slicing the salmon in front of your eyes.

New Partnership:

WILLIAM & SON: - Lime Wood is pleased to announce it's new partnership with William & Son. William & Son jackets are now available for guests to borrow in Lime Wood's boot room. If a guest falls in love with any particular jacket and would like to buy it that can be arranged by the fiercely efficient team at Lime Wood.

Lime Wood rag:

LIMEWIRE: - The latest issue of Limewire is out now. This unsurpassable publication focusses on the finest things in the New Forest and Courchevel 1650 all available through the Lime Wood group of hotels and lodges. The editor of the latest issue is Lisa Johnson, travel writer supreme.
