THE OPENING OF LIME WOOD’S HERB HOUSE 

Sunday 5th December saw the official opening party of Lime Wood’s sumptuous new spa, the Herb House.  Stylish glamour pervaded the spacious spa with models by Storm strutting around in Heidi Klein swimwear and Tom McEwan jewellery.  Their hair was styled by Guy Kremer and they most certainly made heads turn with one party member being heard to say “this is just so Miami”.  Guests from all over the UK flocked to be a part of the most exciting spa opening of the year, if not decade.  Food was effortlessly crafted by Lime Wood’s head chef Luke Holder and his magnificent team showcasing the raw and cured food that spa goers will be able to choose from the menu at the Raw & Cured cafe within Herb House – think cured ham, smoked salmon, fresh juices, smoothies and all varieties of salads.  British sparkling wine producers, Mike and Christine Roberts of Ridgeway in Sussex, generously gave cases of their award winning fizz which guests enjoyed into the small hours. 

In the eight treatment rooms facials, foot massages, shoulder rubs and manicures were being enjoyed by all and guests were walked through the four different brands being used in treatments – VOYA, NUDE, Tri Dosha and Bamford.  All were busy booking their first day of New Year pampering so that they could experience the spa in its more tranquil guise.  In the Workout Studio classes such as Zumba, Kettle Bells and Yoga were in full flow which caused a certain amount of intrigue among guests and upstairs in the gym gents in particular were absorbing all the wonders of the state of the art Technogym equipment.
 
The Herbery, Herb House’s decked meditation rooftop space, was buzzing with sizzling sausages being served to hungry party-goers and chestnuts from the New Forest roasting on the open cast iron fire.  Views of Lime Wood’s grounds were visible in the darkness thanks to the fabulous flares and lights illuminating this stunning forest edge spa scene.
 
Robin Hutson, Chairman of the Lime Wood group, said “It was a great evening with over 300 guests braving the elements to join the party, delicious food and wine, cool music and beautiful swimwear models splashing around in the pools – what more could you ask for!’’
 
Sam Ryder, Spa Membership Director, said “The launch party on Sunday evening was a huge success and was the perfect way for guests to see the Herb House in its full glory.   The pools looked beautiful with floating water lilies & candles.  DJ Anna and Stereofixx created a wonderfully relaxed vibe and we all feel as though it was a runaway success.”
