The Scullery
Playing on the style of an 18th Century country house kitchen, the Scullery is an informal and simple but evocative setting. A large central open fireplace is the focus of the room and is often used for roasting meat ‘a la ficelle' - a French technique of cooking meat over a fire to make it particularly flavoursome.

The painted wooden floors, communal tables and panelled walls brimming with pots of forest chutneys and pickles, all add to The Scullery's charm and character. Open all day for informal dining there is also a beautiful walled back terrace for summer dining.

We don't know if you have noticed but there is a little terrace outside the Scullery, so we thought we would put it to good use and offer you all a BBQ every Saturday lunchtime. We are running a supplementary menu with BBQ specials alongside our a la carte menu, which will be available on the Scullery terrace or if the weather does not permit, inside the Scullery. Come along one Saturday and join us, you wouldn't want to miss it!
