The fly fishing community has come good in support of the inspirational Alex Lewis with a totally unique fly fishing and dining event this September.
What it includes:
Wednesday 24th September
3 course dinner with wine in The Scullery hosted by Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder
Overnight stay at Lime Wood
Thursday 25th September
Gents : Gentleman's guided fly fishing on private trout lakes on the renowed Leckford & Longstock Estate
Ladies : A spa treatment at Herb House Spa (1 x 60min treatment of your choice)
Followed by a Claret and Chardonnay lakeside luncheon by chefs Luke HOlder from Lime Wood, James Golding from THE PIG and Mark Hix from Hix Oyster & Fish House at the private fly fisher's lodge.
Alex is the partner of Lucy Townsend (formally of The Peat Spade and now The Greyhound on the Test). Last November Alex contracted the terrible strep A virus which has resulted in a quadruple amputation. This event package aims to raise funds from the day to purchase him an off road buggy.
It promises to be an amazing event for an amazing cause!
A night at Lime Wood Hotel, pampering in the Herb House spa for the ladies, all transport by Range Rover to a fantastic fly fishing venue along with fine wines the country’s top chefs cooking for you!
