Deeply rooted in the forest surrounding us, Re-Root at Lime Wood is a series of retreats, events and workshops inspired by the healing powers of nature and guided by the rhythms of the seasons.
Foraging
Join our resident Forager Sammie Longhorn for seasonal foraging. Sammie is a yoga teacher, forager, and community herbalist, with a passion for reconnecting people with the incredible edible and medicinal properties of our wild and native plant life.
Meet at Herb House to venture into the forest for a one-hour foraging walk. Then head back to our glasshouse for refreshments and a Q&A with Sammie.
A Foraged Feast Supper
Join us on Thursday 4th June for our Lime Wood Foraged Feast Supper, an immersive evening celebrating the seasonal and wild ingredients of summer.
Hosted by our resident forager Sammie alongside Chef Iain Longhorn, the evening begins from 6.30pm with a relaxed and engaging talk on the Herb House Roof Garden. Sammie will be joined by our friends Kate and Mollie from Four Acre Farm, sharing insights into foraging and the produce that they grow for us on their no dig farm. Enjoy wild-crafted cocktails and canapés, while Iain and his team prepare a delicious feast. Supper will be served family-style in Raw & Cured from 7.15 to 9pm - a generous, seasonal sharing supper designed to showcase the very best of foraged and locally grown produce from Four Acre.
£98 per person including drinks on arrival, canapés, a two-course sharing supper with biodynamic wines, and a Curated gift to take home.
Please note, this event is for guests aged 18 and over. We kindly ask that you let us know of any dietary requirements in advance. Spaces are limited to 20 guests.

Forage, Ferment & Feast Lunch
Join us at Lime Wood on Wednesday 24th June for a day of nature, learning and nourishment, celebrating summer.
Led by our resident forager Sammie Longhorn, begin the day exploring the grounds of Lime Wood to discover seasonal, edible treasures growing all around us. You’ll then be guided into the art of fermentation with Rachel Booth, founder of Newlyn Fermentary, alongside our Chef Iain Longhorn.
In this hands-on workshop, Rachel will share her passion for fermented foods, from gut-friendly kefirs to vibrant kvass, showing just how simple it is to transform foraged ingredients into nourishing, flavourful creations at home. Learn the foundations of lacto-fermentation - one of the oldest and most health beneficial preservation techniques. The morning concludes with a relaxed, seasonal lunch in Raw & Cured.
