Book Club

Join us each month at Lime Wood for a relaxed evening of good food and even better conversation, as we welcome some of the most inspiring food authors to the New Forest for our Book Club series.

Hosted by our very own Angela Hartnett, award winning food writer Mark Diacono, and the whole Hartnett Holder & Co team, these evenings are a chance to go beyond the page, digging into the stories and kitchen secrets behind each author’s work. Think honest chat about their writing and creative process, dig deeper into all the things that shaped their careers, and what really fuels their love of food - all wrapped up in an evening that feels more dinner party than panel talk.

Angela’s been hosting these cosy, thoughtful Book Club nights at Murano for years, and now we’re bringing that same spirit to the forest.

Naturally, there’ll be a generous helping of Hartnett Holder & Co hospitality: nibbles and a cocktail on arrival, followed by a two-course seasonal supper inspired by the respective guest, and wine to match.

Come hungry - for food, stories, and proper kitchen chat.

He’s since opened the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen, and Outlaw’s Guest House - a stunning foodie retreat overlooking Port Isaac.

In his latest book, Nathan shares inspiring recipes to help you cook more UK-caught fish and seafood at home, with global flavours that invite you to try something new.
