An evening of wine, Italian-inspired cooking, and stories from the Tenuta Fertuna Estate

An evening in the company of Angela Hartnett, Luke Holder and Gaddo Castelli from the Tenuta Fertuna Wine Estate, as they host a four-course menu, paired with our exclusive Tenuta Fertuna wines from Tuscany’s Maremma region.

Angela’s Italian heritage and Luke’s time spent cooking in Italy have always influenced our menus at HH&Co, so it would only be right for us to venture onto Italian soil to bring our own red, white and rosé wine to life. Angela and Luke visited the vineyard to blend these special wines with the winemaker, and their relaxed style can be enjoyed in every glass.

Throughout the evening, Gaddo Castelli from Tenuta Fertuna will guide you through each wine, sharing stories from the estate and the character behind every bottle. Meanwhile, Angela and Luke will serve up some Tuscan classics to perfectly complement the wines - each course a delicious conversation between plate and glass.

So, join Angela, Luke, the HH&Co team and Gaddo Castelli for an evening of evening of wine, Italian-inspired cooking, and stories from the Tenuta Fertuna Estate.

The Estate

The Estate The name comes from the consonance with the word "fortuna" meaning fortune and fert, from the Latin fertus, meaning fertile. Some years after the establishment of Fertuna in 1997, the Marchese della Rochetta of Sassicaia and Giuseppe Meregalli created a joint venture to develop two new wines which represented exceptional value for money given their exceptional quality. Our wines are an extension of these and have been created just for us. They are not available for sale anywhere else in the world.

The Winemaker Paolo Rivella, was born in the Chianti Classico region and comes from a winemaking heritage stretching back to 1850. After training in viticulture and oenology in Sienna, Paolo developed his skills at wineries in the Chianti region and his aim is to use his skill and passion to produce wine which will bring enjoyment and an authentic sip of Tuscany to all who taste it.

Gaddo Castelli

Born in Florence, Gaddo Castelli has proudly followed in the footsteps of his father, a famous consultant oenologist for premium wineries in Italy, California, Chile and New Zealand. Passionate about the wine industry, he kick-started his career in 2003 working for his brother’s winery located in the middle of Scansano area (Tuscan Maremma). He then moved into sales for Gruppo Meregalli, before taking on Meregalli Wine Estates - a portfolio of precious family-owned wineries located in the most suited wine production areas all over Italy, including Tenuta Fertuna.
