Re-Root at Lime Wood
Just as Lime Wood is enveloped by and rooted in ancient forest, our weary souls and senses are (like it or not) rooted in nature. Humans are just not designed to function at full pelt, 24/7. Our minds and bodies pay the price.
We’ve listened to what our guests are looking for: lightly structured chill time and making the most of our calm, healing surroundings while, crucially, having some creative fun. So here’s a series of re-rooting retreats, events and workshops that tap into the remedial powers of the English countryside.
Sunday 31st May
Join Mollie from Four Acre Farm for a hands-on morning exploring the world of moths in the Raw & Cured garden, from 10am-12pm. Discover and identify species from overnight moth traps while learning about their life cycles and vital role in biodiversity. The experience concludes with pastries and refreshments at Raw & Cured.
Thursday 4th June
Join us for the Lime Wood Foraged Feast Supper, celebrating the seasonal and wild ingredients of summer. The evening begins with a talk on the Roof Garden and wild-crafted cocktails with canapés, followed by a two-course, family-style sharing supper in Raw & Cured paired with biodynamic wines. Each guest will also receive a Curated gift to take home.

Join our resident Forager Sammie Longhorn for seasonal foraging, Meet at Herb House to head into the forest for a one-hour foraging walk and head back to our glasshouse for refreshments and a Q&A with Sammie.

Wednesday 24th June
Celebrate summer at Lime Wood with a guided forage and hands-on fermentation workshop. Learn to transform seasonal ingredients into gut-friendly ferments with Rachel Booth, then enjoy a relaxed seasonal lunch in Raw & Cured. Includes all activities, lunch, soft drinks, and two ferments to take home.

Over five dates this Summer, Luke and Angela have invited some of their most exciting friends from the culinary world to take over the Asado grill at our HH&Co Forest Kitchen. On one special date, they’ll be joined by two of the UK’s most-loved wine experts, pairing brilliant bottles with each dish to elevate the experience even further.
Whether you’re a devoted foodie, a wine enthusiast, or you're just here to soak up the atmosphere, you can expect an afternoon of playful, fire cooked dishes, perfectly matched wines, and a relaxed setting that only Lime Wood can provide.
Tuesday 30th June
A day dedicated to the science of breath and nervous system regulation, exploring how breathing techniques can enhance performance, build resilience and support overall wellbeing. Led by Jamie Clements, the experience moves from foundational breathwork into practical sessions for focus, energy and recovery, alongside practices to calm and regulate the nervous system. The day concludes with a restorative sound bath and a guided conscious connected breathing session to deepen and integrate the practice.
Tuesday 30th June
Join us for an evening with breathwork specialist Jamie Clements exploring the connection between science, breath and human experience. The talk will cover how breathwork can support stress, emotional regulation and overall wellbeing, alongside the mind-body connection. Guests will be welcomed from 6:30pm with a drink and light nibbles, before the talk begins at 7pm, followed by an open Q&A.
Wednesday 1st July
A restorative day focused on intuitive rhythm, presence and inner connection. The experience begins with a gentle breathwork practice led by Jamie, followed by a deeper conscious connected breathing session to support release and emotional clarity. Then, join resident forager Sammie Longhorn for a nature immersion in the New Forest, before concluding with a meditative gong bath led by Rich Hale, leaving the day grounded, calm and deeply restored.
Sunday 5th July
Join us at Herb House with Tracey Howes for a restorative wellness session combining breathwork, timed sauna exposure, and cold plunges, guided by the latest scientific insights. Includes: tea or coffee on arrival, the workshop, and 2 hours’ use of the spa following the session.
Sunday 20th September
Join Alex Irwin 10am-12pm for an autumn Forest Bathing experience in the heart of the New Forest. As the leaves begin to turn and the forest shifts towards the quieter season, wander beneath the trees and immerse yourself in the sights, scents and sounds of nature at this special time of year.
'Hosted' is an intimate kitchen table supper in the HH&Co Backstage Kitchen. Choose an evening hosted by Luke, or select dates where Angela joins him for something truly special. Each date is booked exclusively for one private group of up to ten guests, enjoying a relaxed four-course, Italian-inspired feast. Think less restaurant and more being welcomed into a great friend’s home for supper!
