World Water Day with Lime Wood and Belu
To celebrate World Water Day on the 22nd March and our work with our long-standing partners Belu we thought we would take you on a journey through Lime Wood to see how we support the fantastic work Belu do.
When you have overdone it on delicious HH&Co pasta then Raw & Cured can help with a little light relief. Sheila Hulme, the Creative Chef and her team create feel-good food that is packed full of all of the goodies that will have you leaping into the Lap Pool and running rings around the Forest.
If you are in need of a bit of inspiration whilst at home, Sheila has shared with us her Super Smoothies recipe, filled with nutrient-rich fruit and vegetables that will give you an energy boost that will keep you going until lunch!
A smoothie full of antioxidants, blueberries are considered a superfood being high in potassium and Vitamin C. Maca powder is said to boost energy and endurance and also is known to improve your mood, the perfect smoothie before a workout, going on a run or trying to keep the kids entertained all day!
A handful of Blueberries
1 Avocado
1 Banana
Mint
Maca powder
200ml Coconut Water - or enough to give it the thickness you like!
Put all the ingredients into a blender and whizz until smooth. Add some ice to serve!
