If you are in need of a bit of inspiration whilst at home, Sheila has shared with us her Super Smoothies recipe, filled with nutrient-rich fruit and vegetables that will give you an energy boost that will keep you going until lunch!
A smoothie full of antioxidants, blueberries are considered a superfood being high in potassium and Vitamin C. Maca powder is said to boost energy and endurance and also is known to improve your mood, the perfect smoothie before a workout, going on a run or trying to keep the kids entertained all day!
A handful of Blueberries
1 Avocado
1 Banana
Mint
Maca powder
200ml Coconut Water - or enough to give it the thickness you like!
Put all the ingredients into a blender and whizz until smooth. Add some ice to serve!
