The Retreat

Led by facilitator, speaker and breathwork specialist Jamie Clements, this retreat series offers a rare opportunity to experience his work in an intimate setting. Set against the backdrop of the New Forest, each day invites guests on a powerful journey of recalibration and connection through guided breathwork, nervous system regulation and restorative practices. The experience concludes with time to unwind in the Herb House Spa, allowing space for rest, reflection and gentle restoration.

Taking place across two consecutive dates - 30th June and 1st July - two individual one-day retreats have been curated, each with its own distinct focus:

Tuesday 30th June: Science – Focus on science behind practices and nervous system regulation to enhance calm, resilience and performance.

Wednesday 1st July: Spirituality - A deeper, more intuitive journey into emotional wellbeing, connection and restoration.

Guests are welcome to book either day independently or both days together for the full two-day journey.

What to Expect

Tuesday 30th June - Science

Centred on the science of breath and nervous system regulation, exploring how breathing patterns can influence performance, resilience and overall wellbeing.

Led by Jamie, the day begins with an introduction to breathwork, before moving into sessions focused on functional and performance-based techniques. Guests will discover how to refine their breathing to support energy, improve focus and aid recovery, alongside workshops designed to calm the nervous system and ease stress.

The day draws to a close with a restorative sound bowl experience led by Lime Wood practitioner Katie Hailey, followed by an extended conscious connected breathing session, offering time to deepen the practice and fully integrate the day’s learnings.

 

Wednesday 1st July - Spirituality

Focused on intuitive rhythm, spiritual connection, presence and inner awareness. After a gentle opening practice led by Jamie, guests are guided through a deeper conscious connected breathing session designed to encourage release, reflection and emotional clarity.

In the afternoon, a foraging and nature immersion experience with resident forager Sammie Longhorn brings the retreat back into the landscape of the New Forest, inviting a deeper connection to the natural world and the seasons that shape it.

The experience concludes with a meditative gong bath led by Lime Wood practitioner Rich Hale, providing a restorative, sensory finale and leaving guests with a renewed sense of balance, calm and restoration.

Jamie Clements will also host an evening talk on 30th June, 6:30pm–8:30pmScience Meets Soul: Bridging Biology, Breath & Being. Exploring the link between science and breathwork, the session will look at how breath influences stress, emotional regulation and nervous system balance, and how it can be used as a practical tool for everyday wellbeing. Timings: The retreat will run from 10am-5:30pm, with time to further unwind in the Herb House spa facilities afterwards, from 5:30pm-8pm

Attendees: Limited to 14 guests for an intimate experience

Price: £245 per guest per day

About Jamie

Jamie Clements is a facilitator, speaker, writer, and educator working at the intersection of breath, consciousness, and human potential.

His work explores the breath as both a physiological tool and a doorway - into the nervous system, into presence, and into dimensions of experience that many of us have been taught to dismiss. Drawing on neuroscience, philosophy, and years of lived practice, he creates spaces where people can regulate, connect, and encounter something that goes beyond the day-to-day.
