At Lime Wood, we are proud to work closely with Four Acre Farm to bring the freshest, most sustainable ingredients straight from the soil to your plate. Located in the heart of Ringwood, Hampshire, Four Acre Farm is a no-dig, small community-led farm with a passion for producing delicious, chemical-free produce.
We believe in the importance of supporting local suppliers and reducing the gap between farm and table. We are proud to have our own dedicated plot at Four Acre Farm, where we grow a variety of fresh, seasonal produce that is harvested and hand-picked each week. This allows us to connect even more deeply with the food we serve, ensuring the highest quality ingredients for our guests.
A hands on approach
Our chefs regularly visit our plot at Four Acre Farm to ensure that we’re in touch with the food we serve. These visits not only allow us to hand-pick the freshest produce for our menus but also offer us the opportunity to witness the care and effort that goes into cultivating healthy, chemical-free crops. It’s a process that feels truly connected to the land, and these direct relationships help maintain that all-important community aspect that we value so much.

Shared ethos
The team at Four Acre Farm share our commitment to sustainable practices. Their no-dig farming approach, which avoids pesticides, herbicides, and artificial fertilisers, results in healthy soil and, in turn, healthy vegetables! The care they take in nurturing both the land and local ecosystems mirrors our own approach to crafting dishes that are both delicious and nourishing.
