A New Gym

We’re so pleased to welcome you back to our newly refreshed gym, now open after an exciting refurbishment. Refresher training sessions are available to book via reception with one of our personal trainers, subject to availability. The sessions last approximately 20 minutes and are designed to help you familiarise yourself with and learn how to safely use the equipment. You will be shown by a personal trainer how to log onto the equipment so please bring your phone with you to the session.

We would recommend all members complete a refresher session before using the gym, and these must be taken before the end of July.

Members Drop In

Our 2026 Members’ drop-in coffee chats take place quarterly, each combined with a talk from one of our Curated brands. These sessions are a great opportunity to meet the team in person, connect with fellow members, and enjoy a complimentary coffee or tea.

Our next session will take place on Monday 13th July, from 10.30am to 1.15pm in The Drawing Room, with Sam & Sophie. The morning will begin with a talk from Ross J Barr from 10.30am–11.30am. A registered acupuncturist and widely recognised wellness expert, Ross will share the story behind his natural wellness patches, including Healing, Calm, Sleep, Breathe, Period and Focus, exploring how the range was developed and the inspiration behind the products.

A leading expert in holistic wellbeing, Ross is one of London’s most sought-after practitioners, known for his work across stress management, women’s health and emotional wellbeing.

This will be followed by members' coffee chats from 12pm until 1.15pm - an opportunity for members to meet other members, chat over coffee and biscuits and get to know our team better.

To attend, please book your place via the Technogym app for either or both parts of the session.

Late Access to Classes

To ensure the best experience for both our members and instructors, we kindly remind you that late entry to classes is not permitted once a session has begun. This helps minimise disruption, particularly during our quieter, more meditative classes, and ensures all participants can fully benefit from the session.

For higher-energy classes, arriving on time is also important from a health and safety perspective, allowing sufficient time to warm up before exercising.

Please note that if there are members waiting for a space and places remain unfilled when the class starts, instructors may offer those spaces to members waiting in person. If you are running late, we would therefore be grateful if you could contact Spa Reception so that the instructor is aware you are on your way and your space can be held for you.

New Classes!

We’re delighted to introduce a series of new classes to the Herb House timetable, designed to support strength, mobility, movement and overall wellbeing in a variety of ways.

Juliet’s new classes are now live and available to book via the app, including Functional Strength on Tuesdays from 11:15am-12pm, a welcoming full-body strength class focused on building muscle, balance and confidence using weights, bands and bodyweight exercises, suitable for all levels. Juliet will also be leading Body Conditioning on Fridays from 12:35pm-1:30pm, a Pilates-inspired class that builds on familiar movements with added challenge, using balls, bands and light weights for a dynamic full-body workout.

From Friday 19th June, Tracey will also be launching Fascia Flow & Release, taking place Fridays from 11:30am-12:30pm. This guided bodywork practice uses breathwork techniques and soft therapy balls to release tension, improve circulation and restore ease and flow throughout the body.

We’re also excited to welcome new instructor Heather to Herb House with the introduction of her Core Barre classes, beginning Thursday 18th June, with sessions at 12pm in Hideout and 1pm in the Studio. Drawing on her experience as a professional dancer and choreographer, Heather’s classes combine traditional ballet-inspired techniques with a supportive, energising atmosphere, creating a full-body workout designed to strengthen, tone and leave you feeling uplifted.

Class Schedule Changes

Please kindly note that due to our second Forest Kitchen event taking place in the Hideout on Sunday 28th June, there will be a few changes to the fitness timetable on this date:

9am Vinyasa Flow Yoga will not take place
10:45am Strength & Conditioning will take place in the gym
10:45am Yin & Sound will take place in the studio
12:45pm Sound Bath will take place in the greenhouse

For the most up-to-date timetable, please check the Technogym app.

A Reminder to Please Drive Carefully

We would like to remind all members to please take care when driving around Lime Wood and always adhere to the 15mph maximum speed limit.

Our drive is shared not only by guests and staff, but also walkers, cyclists and the wildlife that makes the New Forest so special. Sadly, we recently lost a mother duck following a vehicle incident on the drive. Let us all take extra care and we hope this serves as an important reminder to slow down and remain mindful of the surroundings.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding and consideration.

Back-to-Back Classes

Our back-to-back classes are scheduled to accommodate as many members as possible, allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy our most popular classes.

As a courtesy to other members, we kindly request that members do not book onto two of the same class on the same day in advance. If, on the day, there is a last-minute space in the second class, you are welcome to add yourself via our reception team.

Our Duty Managers do their best to monitor duplicate bookings and will contact members who are booked onto more than one class.

Little Nippers Swimming

A gentle reminder that our Little Nippers swim sessions are available exclusively for members and their children or grandchildren. Please book your sessions via the Technogym app and register your Little Nippers in advance of their first swim by emailing membership@herbhousespa.co.uk.

We’re unable to accommodate any additional children who haven’t been registered. If additional adults would like to join the session, they are welcome to do so by booking a guest pass for the day to access the facilities. Alternatively, they’re very welcome to relax with a coffee and watch from Raw & Cured without a guest pass. Please click here to view our Little Nippers Policy.

Using the Sauna & Steam Room Safely

For health & safety reasons, we kindly ask that you refrain from using personal oils, ointments, or other products in the sauna or steam room. These can affect the safe operation of the equipment and may affect guests who suffer with allergies and intolerances. We also ask that no equipment within these areas is adjusted or tampered with.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Membership Team or speak to the Spa Duty Manager, who will be happy to help.
