Herbal Beers – The Wild and Seasonal Drink of Our Ancestors
As beer gardens fill up for summer, our resident forager Sammie Longhorn looks back at the origins of brewing in Britain
Here at Lime Wood, we’re lucky to be nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park, surrounded by thousands of acres of ancient woodland, heathland and open forest. There’s no need for a car to get your forest fix. With a number of walking routes leading directly from the hotel, the forest is quite literally on your doorstep.
Please kindly note that parking at Lime Wood is reserved for those staying, dining, or enjoying Herb House Spa. Printed maps of the below routes are available from Reception to take with you on your journey.
